"Quintessentially British (RP) warm and engaging."

"Your words wrapped in gold leaf." I have a soft, pleasant British voice which can relay business ideas, technical content (from my IT and biology background) with professional polish but without sounding harsh or immature. I can sound like a warm grandmother reading children's books, an experienced user of healthcare, a museum guide or l can exaggerate my RP to become a haughty, aristocrat dispensing witty dialogue.

My background is biology, information technology, presenting seminars and company management. I have co-authored books on IT analysis and design and, for my sins, spent my early days at IBM in the UK programming the early computers and helping clients with their programming!

Born and raised in London, England, I am now a confirmed New Yorker where I surround myself with British antiques at home, and try to enjoy all the exciting activities here in the city that never sleeps. (I have not lost my British accent.)

 Training

I started training with SuchAVoice where I was coached for 6 months and helped to produce my demos. I have since joined Gravy For The Brain, where I am an active (well-known- their tag) member . I have continued some one-to-one coaching, followed the training classes and regularly attend mentoring webinars, even the one run from the Antipodean branch down under! I regularly submit work for review on the forum to make certain I am up-to-date.

 Experience

I have mainly worked for agencies or content provider companies working with start ups or events where humour is needed.

 Specials

I have an isolation booth and can deliver work that has been processed with EQ, compression and normalisation.
