Sky Gager
Using my uniquely broad vocal range, I have been able to provide deliveries and performances across numerous age ranges and tones: from bright, confident, and conversational to authoritative, mature, and professional, I have been thrown into many different depths of various talent pools. As well, my range extends to what I am able to provide - with years of character work under my belt coupled with professional training in projects such as commercial, e-learning, and explainers from several industry veterans and coaches.
Training
My voiceover journey started with a twelve week in-person coaching program with industry veteran Lesley Bailey, showing me the subtle masteries involved in lifting the words off of the page and making the script your own in any genre. Commercial, e-learning, explainer, narration, and character work were all covered from her expertise, aiming me down the path of providing the high quality that the industry demands. Since then, I have kept myself active in between work by staying up-to-date in various classes and workshops, including those run by Shawn Gann of Crunchyroll, Steve Blum, Michael Schwalbe, and many others.
Experience
I hit the ground running, so to speak, in my voiceover career by being cast as Fritz in Transolar Games upcoming "Summer Daze at Hero-U", releasing on PC this quarter and on every other platform shortly after. From there, I was immediately swept into another multi-platform release from Drakkar Dev's "Blackwind", and that all ended up snowballing into other projects. From K.L. Studios and their future release "Mishigi: Love and War" to Velvet Fox Studios' "Infinite Blue", my experience in recording professional-quality voiceover speaks for itself. Not to be limited to just game work, however, I have been trained on a professional level to lift the words off of the page for commercials, e-learning, and narration, and have been included in several talent pools that offer talent services to just that.
Specials
Aside from voiceover and acting, I have training and experience as a singer, especially on-stage - which has been useful for the occasional musical I find myself cast into!
