Commercially, Pete is booked every day for reads ranging from soft and aspiring to savvy and hard-hitting.
He is much in demand for conversational corporate animations and e-learning projects, sympathetic or dramatic documentary reads, as well as a wide range of TV promo styles, from cartoons and comedy through to drama and thrillers.

He is also an accomplished singer, musician and stand-up comedian.
Raised in Sheffield, based near London, Pete is often booked for his Yorkshire accent.

BA in French and Linguistics from York University UK.
Has trained with Marice Tobias of Tobias Entertainment.
Co-Founder and Co-Director of one of the UK's most respected voiceover agencies, Excellent Talent.

 Experience

Pete is one of Britain’s busiest and most widely-recognised voice artists.
He has spent more than 15 years building up an impressive client list. For five years, he was the signature voice of BBC Radio Five Live, and has been a frequent narrator for National Geographic, History and Biography Channels, and has also voiced documentaries for VH1, ITV, and Channel 4.
He’s also particularly experienced as a promo voice, having voiced regularly for nearly every BBC channel via Red Bee Media, as well as Channel 5, Channel 4, Virgin Media, National Geographic Channel, History Channel, QVC, and several overseas channels via Vubiquity.
Pete earns his daily crust from voicing radio commercials and corporate videos, but has also voiced many major TV campaigns, including Garnier, Nokia, Snickers, AA, Suzuki, Calgon, QuickBooks, Touchnote and Head & Shoulders.
He has several years experience writing and voicing continuity links for for FTN and Living2, but is best known in certain circles as the voice of the character Hoxton in the Overkill game “PayDay: The Heist”.
Back in 1996, Pete helped establish Excellent Talent: one of the UK’s leading voice and talent agencies, of which he is a Co-Director.
He is also an excellent singer, musician and songwriter, as well as an experienced stand-up.

 Specials

Pete is an accomplished singer, having achieved Grade 8 singing at the age of 13.
He is often booked by radio creatives for commercials involving singing, and he runs a local community choir, for whom he arranges much of the repertoire.
Pete is also a former veteran of the London stand-up circuit, around which he delighted audiences with his unique brand of self-penned comedy songs to wide critical acclaim.
He plays guitar, piano, and percussion, though rarely at the same time.
He has almost 2 decades of experience directing voiceover sessions and producing demos for other artists, and occasionally produces radio commercials himself.
