Michael Downey

I have extensive professional experience as a voice actor (both as a "non radio guy sounding" performer and as a character actor. I've worked for NBC, ABC, National Syndication (and another soon to be announced platform pending NDA agreement) and multiple national radio spots over my 25 years of experience. I work quickly, professionally, always have options at the ready and know my way around a booth (I also have a full professional booth myself). Whatever your vocal needs I'm here and work collaboratively and efficiently .

 Training

25 years in radio, broadcast and professional television, film and commercial work. I have my MFA in acting with a specialty in vocal training (from USC 2009). I've vocal on dozens of projects and have extensive experience in recording booths of all size and equipment supply.

I'm currently performing as series regular in a cartoon for a major studio (due to NDA I will be able to post what studio and broadcast platform once the studio makes their final announcement).

I have years of experience in production as well so if you need help with your audio project I can give you a clean broadcast ready file. I have lots of experience with cold rads so if new material is coming in and you don't want to be slowed down then I'm your performer. I have hundreds of voices at the ready so if you need one performer to play multiple characters to keep costs down I'm trained and ready with whatever options you need.
