What makes me unique is that I can tailor my voice to suit the brief and I would never put myself forward if I don’t feel I can do the job justice. I love creating characters and I look for work in which I can explore that. I am reliable and work well to a deadline. I am open to direction and will do my best to provide my clients with high quality work that they can be proud of.

 Training

I have been involved with recording the human voice for the last 20 years. Either at university as the sound and lighting engineer for the university concert hall, as a professional recording artist or as a presenter on the largest commercial radio station in the uk! This coupled with my dramatic work on the stage places me in a very unique position.

 Experience

My biggest achievement so far would have to be that as a recording artist with the group G4. We came second on the first season of the uk X factor and from that went on the have a number one album and three top ten albums in the uk selling over 1.6 million copies. It was after this that I became a presenter on the commercial radio station Classic FM starting off with my own show the ‘weekend night show’ and then as my listenership grew moving to the weekend early morning time slot. Live radio was extremely thrilling and a great experience.

 Specials

I am also a trained opera singer and have worked at some of the major opera houses and concert venues of the UK such as the Royal Opera House and the Royal Albert Hall as well some international houses. whilst singing is the main focus of this work I am also experienced in spoken dialogue and through this creating and performing as a character is second nature to me.
