I believe my tenacity, drive, and willingness to be as silly, ridiculous, passionate and true to myself are qualities that make my work unique. I'm not afraid to make that screaming scene as loud, or as heart wrenching, or as horrifying as you want it. But I also am able to connect more with a variety of behaviors and still sound authentic. My work ethic is also top notch. While I will do my best to give you the voice and acting you desire, I make it a priority to be professional on and off the mic. I believe that kindness, clarity, and respect go a long way in business as well as forming a strong work relationship. Lastly, I believe my other career as a Registered Nurse has given me more insight and experience from connecting with people coming from different walks of life. While this may not seem to relate to voice acting, I believe being exposed to different cultures, traumas, backstories, and people of all ages brings me new material and experiences to connect with when performing.

The fields I am truly great at are character roles, specifically emotional, or your casual high school protagonist/hero. My VO coach Dan Green has always said my natural voice is great for a main protagonist; however, I also do well with wacky cartoon characters who have a wide range of tonality or pitch.

 Training

I trained under the guidance of voice actor Dan Green for over a year with the Edge Studio program. I have gone through 2 extensive training programs with Edge Studio (commercial and character). Each training program came with over 5 private training sessions as well as additional classes. I would meet with Dan via skype bringing scripts to work on, show improvements in my readings, and fine tune my overall performance. Outside of private sessions, I would practice my scripts on my way to work, at home in my recording studio, while doing laundry, etc. As we reached the end of the training, Dan would assess if I was ready to produce the demo with him and a professional sound engineer. I'm happy to say Dan sees great potential in me and I could not thank Dan enough for all he has done. Dan has been a wonderful coach and has taught me everything I know. In addition, I have also become more familiar with editing my own recordings with Audacity, as well as creating my own recording studio.

 Experience

I have experience in audiobooks, various character roles, and I recently booked an online ad. I also have 2 years of experience in private coaching sessions, VO improv, dubbing, ADR, and many more classes. I have VO groups that I meet with virtually and in person to hone my craft and continuously improve on my skills.

 Specials

The most relevant special skill I can think of is editing my recordings with Audacity. I have intermediate experience with Audacity and can improve the quality of my recordings to sound great for auditions.
