Kwesi Busia
Hi there. I'm Kwesi, a professional voice actor with 5 years of experience. I am confident in my ability to deliver the right sound for your project, and will work with you to achieve just that. My understanding of the subtilties and nuances of of the human voice is something that sets me apart from other voice actors. I can switch between different tones as necessary for the job at hand - whether it's friendly, formal or casual.
I have credits in video games, animation, commercials and more. I pride myself on being able to create voices that are so distinct from one another, that one might be unaware they were all recorded by me.
Training
Born and raised in the United Kingdom, I was exposed to the performing arts from a young age. I began to develop my speech and listening skills while I was enrolled in Stage Coach and Brit School; two of the leading performing and creative arts institutions in the UK.
My first degree was in law from Lancaster University. This experience further trained my speech and advocacy skills; refining my pitch, tone, pacing, intonations etc.
Experience
I have been working as a freelancer for almost two years now and am very proud of the broad range of clients I've worked with. I have recorded voice overs for brands all over the world, notably EssilorLuxottica, Suffolk City Council, Yango, UBS and World Child Cancer. These jobs have included everything from corporate videos to audio books for children who can't read themselves, and even video games.
Specials
I enjoy getting involved with post-production and editing, and have frequently been asked by clients to help them with this aspect of their projects. I pride myself in providing a high quality product with an emphasis on creativity and innovation.
I have experience working with video editing, sound design, audio mastering, music selection for video projects (finding appropriate tracks given the context of the film), syncing visual effects to audio, color correction/grading footage to achieve desired look/feel. I have also been asked to repair elements of video or audio to ensure that all elements of a project reach the highest standards.
