As a classically-trained actress, I bring that level of expertise and passion to every project. Coupled with my professional home studio, I deliver all of my client's broadcast-quality files that have been used internationally in video games, commercials, eLearning, podcasts, animation, corporate narration and jingles. Clients praise me for my versatility, my ability to take direction well, and my distinct and animated voice.
Training
A theatre kid since the age of 5, I have performed on stages across the US. I earned my BFA in Musical Theatre from Boston's Emerson College, where I trained with world-renowned vocal coaches like Ken Crannell and Kristin Linklater. Upon moving to NYC, I joined Actor's Equity, as well as the touring and repertory casts of many shows, while also booking my very first voice over and industrial gigs, and working with famous vocal coach, Ron Shetler. My career segued into writing, directing, and teaching, which I continue to do in my new home on the NJ Shore (when I am not in my studio!) My company, KittyJayVoice, was founded as a culmination of my decades of experience in theatre and voice over.
