I am a professional musician that has been performing across the United States and recording for decades. A few years ago, I was working on an in-house employee appreciation video shoot. In the video, office supplies came to life and “spoke” to one another about how much they enjoyed where they worked. Because the director needed some movement for a rough edit, I started improvising what the pen was saying to a stapler. Little did I know that the CEO of the company was around the corner doubled over in a laughter fit at my riffing. Once the video was in post, the same CEO requested that I provide some of the voices for the different office supplies. A few days later I was in the studio, bringing "Pen" to life. I’ve been hooked ever since. My experience as a performer and as a seasoned (i.e., professional, easy to work with, rolls with constructive criticism, pleasing clients, etc.) recording artist was key to landing me a number of regional voice over gigs.
Training
My quest for wisdom and knowledge in the music world definitely extends into the voice over world. I might not have the most extensive resume' of VO jobs, but I easily utilize my professionalism and experience being either 'front of the mic' as well as 'behind the board' as well as understanding how to please clients to the best of my abilities.
I am very comfortable in a recording studio and I am very comfortable taking direction as well as (hopefully constructive) criticism.

Because voice over work is yet another ability in my arsenal as a professional musician, I have quite a few additional skills. I am a composer and multi-instrumentalist. I graduated from the prestigious Indiana University School of Music with a Jazz Studies bachelor’s degree and have toured the entire country with an original rock band.
