Before even taking my first voiceover workshop, I've been in love with telling stories. Whether recording "radio plays" on an actual tape recorder or delivering high quality audio files through my current studio setup, I love every minute behind a microphone.
While physically located on the Pacific US coast in the San Francisco Bay Area, my voice has been heard in many places throughout the world. I've provided broadcast-ready voice tracks for radio and television commercials, narrations, web videos, eLearning and animated and video game characters. Training
I am a full-time voice actor specializing in commercial, eLearning, explainer and video game projects.
Before "turning pro" in 2009, I received VO training through private workshops with working pro VO's and group classes through highly regarded training institutes.
I continue to develop and refine my voice, acting and improv skills through ongoing workshops and private coaching sessions with key mentors.
I also teach recording techniques to voice actors on an ongoing basis with classes and direct sessions through JustAskJimVO.studio.
