I became a voice actor after many years as a full-time professional actor on stage and screen, so I am great with characters and story arc, whether the arc is a 30 second commercial or an hour-long documentary on birds. Originally from the South, followed by the Midwest then the Northeast, so my Southern, TX, New England and NYC accents are all natural...although I typically speak General American! Excellent customer reviews, especially for audiobooks and children's documentaries/ museum content. 2016 Audie nominee for Best Female Narrator and a finalist for this year's Independent Audiobook Awards in two categories--Young Adult fiction for Lucifer's Pride and General Fiction for Gullah Secrets by Susan Gabriel. I am also an award-winning Teaching Artist, which makes me a terrific fit for children's content, whether it's games, e-learning, or other content.

I studied voice acting as part of my conservatory training as well as voice lessons (speech and singing), continued with mentorships and experience-training with Bruce Coville and Full-Cast Audio, John G Hertzler and the New Mercury Theatre Company, Tom Perkins, then began attending workshops at the SAG-AFTRA Foundation, at APAC, with the Audiobook Publishers Association webinars, Johnny Heller's workshops, workshops and conferences with Lisa Biggs, private coaching with Khristine Vham, classes and private coaching with Shelly Shenoy, and attended various other webinars and workshops in the industry. I also have had years of voice lessons and continue to take performance and improv classes.

I am super upbeat, love taking direction, and hard working! I love science and history, so math/science projects are not confusing for me, and I have a facility for learning accents and 'conversational' amounts of languages (thanks to lots of training and work abroad).
