I’ve been a bilingual voiceover artist and voice actor for 18+ years. I’ve been active in both the Brazilian and international market. I was born and raised in Australia, so I’m both a native Brazilian Portuguese and English speaker (in a variety of accents). I’ve done voiceovers for countless well known brands in Brazil and abroad, character voice acting and audiobook narrations. My voice is quite versatile as it sounds fairly young, yet can lend credibility and seriousness due to a more mature low register when needed.
Training
I began working in an audio/music production company in 2006 as a composer and producer, but one day a VO artist scheduled to record a spot couldn't show up in the studio due to illness. I volunteered to replace him since time was short and it turns out everyone discovered I was naturally good at it.
In 2009 I did a VO course to enhance some skills and technique, but honestly what really gave me my chops was mileage.
Experience
I am very well known in the Brazilian ad industry. More recently I was the official voice for Casas Bahia (Brazil's 4th largest retail chain) for 2.5 years.
