"Trustworthy Guy Next Door or Great Character Voice!"

Did you know at age five what you wanted to be when you grew up? Well, neither did I, but it turns out I was practicing for a career in voice over at that early age. Still learning to read, I was riding through town with my mother when we passed a 7-Up billboard. “Seven Yoop!” I pointed proudly at the sign as I read aloud. She eventually stopped making fun of me for that and I continued reading signs and billboards in the voices of the announcers on tv.

Growing up, I fell in love with the most colorful of entertainers: The Muppets, David Copperfield, and KISS all created worlds of illusion to which we could escape, and I studied them. I read and re-read the Chronicles of Narnia. These brands of storytelling shaped the artist I would become.

Over the years, I searched for my ideal creative outlet, working professionally in magic, puppetry, radio, cartooning, sound design, video production, and acting. I finally found my home in voice over, which allows an actor to play everything from rock star to puppet to guy-next-door. Performing in front of a live audience is always a rush, but I do love when the curtain goes up and the lights go on in my studio and it's time to bring to life ... your story.

And I still practice by reading signs and billboards aloud.

 Training

I've been studying acting and performing most of my life, having been cast in countless commercials, shows, and live performances.

 Experience

Some stand out voice over experiences for me have been winning two Emmys, being The Voice of Little Caesars Pizza (PIZZA! PIZZA!), and hosting Nickelodeon's Slime Cup, Tournament of Champions.

 Specials

As the quintessential Guy Next Door voice actor, my "hidden" talent is character voices and the occasional impression.
