Cristina Tohatan

I like to put my voice to work in order to both challenge myself and offer you the best recording for your project. All that I have experienced so far helps me adjust my voice to tell your story in a believable and meaningful way, that will convey your message clearly and efficiently.

 Training

I have a Bachelor's Degree and a Master's Degree in Performing Arts. I was trained as an opera singer and I have both sang and acted on stage. As a singer I enjoy recording both classical and contemporary music (jazz, pop, ethnic)and as a voice actor I recorded audio books, video explainers, narrations, tutorials, commercials, medications, educational presentation, press reviews for radio.

 Experience

Some of my clients include companies and brands such as: Garmin, Sephora, Attensi UK, Sanofi, IXI Design LLC, Craftindika, Fundația Upper Education. I have also recorded audiobooks, sometimes classics (Sherlock Holmes) sometimes in collaboration with conemporary authors (Dan Afflerbach, Carmen Turner-Schott).

 Specials

I have a BA and MA in Performing Arts - Singing, and I also play the guitar.
I can speak both Romanian and English with a Russian accent.
Delivering high-quality audio recordings is one of my priorities, reason for which I do the recording, editing, post-processing and formatting myself, according to the client's requirements.
