 Training

Andy is a trained actor (Rom Theatre Arts) used to taking direction and working as part of a team to inform and entertain. He achieved New Era Bronze, Silver and Gold medal acting qualification awards - graded 'with distinction,' for each. He loves character acting and has performed a range of characters from Shakespeare to Ms Agatha Trunchbull (Head of Crunchem High School) in Matilda.

Andy began his voice journey in senior school, entering public speaking competitions and wandering, 'Lonely as a Cloud,' reciting scripts across stages in London. This gave him confidence in public speaking and performance that has enabled Andy to perform a range of roles and deliver public speaking for many years, continuing to today and beyond!

Andy has a background in public services - spending 32 years (now retired) in the Police Service in London. He was a 'go to,' public speaker for public events and speeches in the Boroughs and Departments in which he served, speaking to audiences across the spectrum of diversity, ages and communities in London. Highlights include delivering a speech to thousands of Muslims whilst broadcast live on TV in Pakistan and speaking to the followers of a very personable and charismatic 'living God,' who had travelled from across the world to hear their Guru speak.

Andy performed characters such as 'Burglar Bill,' and as Victorian and WW2 Police Officers - amongst other performances based around preventing knife, gun, gang crime, personal safety and bringing history to life whilst working in Community Roles and in Schools, Colleges and Universities. He firmly believes that as a Police Officer acting is a natural extension of 'the job.' He asserts that whilst everyone else is sensibly running away and seeking safe refuge the Police Officers are mustering their best ability to act outwardly calm, take charge and tackle whatever. confronts them - no matter what their human mind and body may be telling them!

Andy also became the Voice of God commentating live on Community and public Events - often with large audiences. As a Professional Story Teller and member of the Society of Storytellers - he performs to bring the written word alive for audiences of all ages, both in character and spellbinding reads. His audiences range from Nursery - through all school and adult ages to Senior Citizens. Examples include to Adoption Agencies, Schools and Retirement Homes.

Andy is a trained and qualified Toastmaster / Master of Ceremonies, practiced in the art of public speaking and taking the lead at events.
He is also a trained Celebrant, leading celebrations of all kinds.

Andy is an Educational Trainer, delivering First Aid Training to fellow Community First Responders for the East of England Ambulance Service, for which he also drives Emergency Blue Light Ambulances - on Bank, in his 'spare time.' As a Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Master Practitioner Andy successfully completed another Public Speaking Training Course to add to those he completed in the Police Service and as a Commissioned Officer in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve (Training Branch) from which he has also now retired. Finally, Andy enjoys training and mentoring others in his fields of experience - whether it be Public Speaking, Motivational Speaking, M C, Event Commentary, First Aid and all that he can to support, mentor and assist others to overcome their limiting beliefs, to believe in themselves and 'be the best they can be.
