"Relatable, versatile, clear. American by day, Scottish by night!"

Carolyne Leys is a Scottish-American actress and voiceover artist based in New York City. Her native dialect is North American, but as a dual-citizen, she also has a natural proficiency with Scottish dialects. Carolyne loves learning new accents, and some of her favorite to perform are Cockney, Received Pronunciation, estuary English, Southern American, Russian, and New York. Carolyne enjoys broadening her voice's capabilities in her narration work and onstage, where she often performs Shakespeare, with "fairy" and "witch" both appearing on her resume.

As an audiobook narrator, some of Carolyne's favorite genres to narrate are historical mystery, dark fantasy, and new adult fiction. She has been trained in Linklater, Alexander Technique, and classical singing. She earned her BFA in Theatre and Performance at Emerson College.
