I have a highly-trained and experienced professional Baritone voice...in reassuring, calm, confident, friendly, and empathetic tones...suitable for television/radio/internet commercial work and also for corporate or educational narrations.
I have no discernable regional accent...but can easily give you a highly credible country Southern man (redneck or gentry), posh British Public-School grad or Cockney or a Scottish Highland Brogue, or German/Austrian accents.
I love the collaborative process and "highly coachable" by your production and directorial staffs. Because I want you to be overjoyed with my services, I do NOT charge for revisions or multiple takes: I want to get this "right" for you! I'm available for virtual directorial sessions, or in studio, as your needs dictate.
Formation
My formal voice training was during my undergrad days at Colorado State University where I majored in television and radio journalism; I took classes in radio/television acting (The Method) and served as news Director of the campus FM radio station, KCSU-FM. Thereafter, I worked in television news at KMBC-TV (Kansas City), KTVI-TV (St. Louis) and ABC News, Chicago as on-air and production talent,
Televison journalism ultimately led me to law school, years as trial attorney, and eventually to selection as a United States Judge. No formal voice/acting training in the world equals the training one gets as a courtroom lawyer.
During my career at the bar and bench, I periodically "Dabbled" in media work. I was the creator and on-air talent of the nationally-syndicated legal series, "It's Your Law."
Expérience
20+ years of dramatic speaking experience as a trial attorney.
Particularités
I am an exceptionally good copy writer. Frankly, many voiceover scripts are poorly written. I can really, really help!
