I have been a VO for 20 years, working for some of the biggest brands in advertising.
Formation
Back when I started, all auditions were directed, so I received some great feedback from professional voice directors right away.
As time went on, I started taking classes in: voiceover, both group and 1 on 1, animation, improv, acting, character breakdown and even some MOCAP training.
I'm now a voice director myself, so I get to learn from the incredible voice talents I work with too!
Expérience
I've been the "voice of" Advil, Purolator, CGA, Swiss Chalet, Michelob, Toyota, Nissan
plus national voice spots/campaigns for Bell, Expedia, CAA, Kraft, GM, Tim Hortons, Chevrolet, OLG, World Vision, Government of Canada and Genesis.
I was the voice of "Judge", a collection of alien intelligence, in the Ubisoft videogame "Starlink: Battle For Atlas." It was tremendous fun!
Currently narrating Season 2 of "Deadly Science" on SuperChannel.
Particularités
Yes.
I was a full-time professional musician before I got into composing for commercials and TV.
I'm the bassist for well known Canadian rock band The Headstones.
Most recently, I wrote the music for the hit Netflix show "Blown Away" now in it's 4th season.
I believe that having a musical ear really helps with tone and nuance in voice acting.
