Thomas Barker

With an extensive background in multiple styles of live theatre, having trained as a classical singer Thomas brings a keen eye and ear to any potential script or project. He is adept at working with others in both collaboration and under direction, having produced, written and directed stage and audio productions throughout his 20+ years of performing. There is a maturity and eloquence to Thomas's voice which belies his 35 years, and he is at home in various accents and idioms, from his native NZ (reflecting his Aotearoa and UK heritage) to various authentic UK and US accents. He also has a few impressions under his belt (just in case!) and is an excellent mimic.
Sight-reading is a specialty, so you may be assured that script comprehension is superlative. In addition, Thomas is currently branching out further into full-blown audio production, direction and editing, an area he already has a good knowledge-base in.
