I'm the Mentor Mom, the trusted neighbor, the faithful friend, your favorite teacher. I care about people, and it comes through in my voice. I am a natural-born teacher....from teaching French and Dance to elementary children, to Bible studies, or delivering the news, I have a professorial warmth combined with authority that listeners innately trust.
Formation
I have a degree in Broadcast Journalism, which led to my years as a news anchor in multiple markets. After switching to teaching for 20 years, I began a career in voice over through professional training with Such a Voice.
Expérience
I have used my French experience and love for the country by narrating a series of audiobooks set in France called Searching for Family and Traditions at the French Table by Carole Bumpus. I also brought the warmth of my voice to other audiobook projects such as Comedy of Blessings, and Eating with the King.
I voiced many other projects for organizations like The Colson Center for Christian Worldview, United Way of Beaufort County, SC, Sonshine Therapy, Rutland Tire, and Sycamore at the Stadium Baseball Camps.
Prior to narration and commercial voice over, I anchored the news for 9 years.
Particularités
I have a top quality home studio and am able to edit and master my own projects, which pass ACX standards
