Teresa Mastrobuono

I grew up in an immigrant Italian household and learned very early the value of expressive speech and especially of vowels.
Character based narration and commercials are my forte. Years as a professional actress gives me an innate way to hook into a read f by being the character speaking the words. I approach material from a human perspective, not a technical one. Tell me who you see speaking, and I will imagine being that person.
As an experienced director, I understand and fully immerse myself in guided sessions. I work until it is satisfactory, playing with tone, pitch, pacing, and emphasis until you, the client, is happy.
I am trained in improv and worked for 15 years with a professional improv company. I work at being flexible, playful, and upbeat.
I have taught theater, movement, and voice at the college level has, out of necessity, honed the need and skill to communicate clearly and effectively.

Samaritan Center of Lancaster - VO in "Death Valley, A Love Story" - a film dealing with grief and loss. It was meaningful work.
The Amish Experience - Commercial. If I could do any one kind of work for the rest of my life it would be in the travel industry. I am a wanderer at heart.
Illuminate Italian Learning Services - Explainer video for vaccine. It was in Italian, my second language, so I'm quite proud of the accomplishment!
