Stephen O'Kane
Whether you are seeking the friendly, conversational "guy next door" for commercials, an engaging and inviting professional tone for e-learning or corporate narration, or fun, energetic characters for animation, audiobooks, or children’s programming, I am dedicated to providing the voice you need. Working out of a broadcast-quality home studio in Georgia, and using a Rode NT-1 microphone, Focusrite Scarlett Solo interface, and Adobe Audition, I am ready to collaborate with you to produce the vision you have for your next project.
I have been telling stories for as long as I can remember. I vividly recall my father reading Celtic fairytales as bedtime stories, and often found myself using characters from those stories to create my own voices, plots, and anything to satisfy my creative need. Passing along a love of storytelling to my own children, I recognize the importance that stories have in our human experience. But it’s not just about stories; words present themselves in a variety of ways that can influence people to action or reflection and anything in between. I am energized and inspired by becoming a conduit for the written word and am excited to work with you!
