"Rich bass-baritone voice with excellent resonance"

Trained as an opera singer and classical concert vocal soloist, I have excellent projection and resonance, even in the higher registers. My theatrical experience lends well to historical narration and story-telling, such as in documentary and audiobook work. I can carry authority for corporate narration or present a warm, intelligent persona for e-learning. I have used these attributes for TV and radio commercial voice overs, from strong to "guy next door".

With 37 years of experience in TV broadcasting as a producer, director and editor, I can easily transition, if desired, to an announcer or promo style.

After retiring from broadcasting, I established a new start-up to establish a free-lance voice-over business. To better myself, I coached with Ron Allan Fouts of Big Voice Productions. I have also received instruction from Rodney Saulsberry, Hillary Huber and Randye Kaye.

After training as a television producer, I worked with audio engineers to better understand audio editing and recording.

In my collegiate years, I trained as an opera performer, concert soloist, musical and theatrical performer. I also trained in speech and teaching.
