Oliver's accent originates in Germany. Due to years of touring and traveling as a professional musician in Europe and beyond and calling NYC his home for the last 25 years, his voice has melted into a unique blend of worldly authenticity.
Formation
Oliver studied and continues to do so with Tom Keegan, Jim Conroy, Roger Becker, Andy Roth, Debra Sperling, Tina Morasco, Arianna Ratner, Matthew Rudd, People’s Improv Theater (PIT) with Kim Alu in NYC.
Expérience
In his relatively short VO career Oliver has had a returning customer in Google Germany, lend his voice to a Netflix dubbing gig and had the amazing opportunity to give 8 characters a voice in the 1920 silent movie “Das Kabinett des Dr. Caligari” as part of an art project at the University of Nashville. He voiced a German version and translated the script to record the same in English. This project climaxed in a live production with the movie on screen and an orchestra and Oliver behind the screen.
Particularités
Oliver is bi-lingual (german/english), books mostly for jobs in English due to his unique character in his voice as well as a good amount of clients in German. He is known to spot translation errors and offer creative solutions. Oliver is a professional musician for nearly 40 years which has been a great asset, particularly in the dubbing world.
