A warm, velvety voice fills your ears, making you crave that delicious piece of chocolate it speaks of. Or, a cowboy from the wild west with deep resonance tries to sell you his favorite whiskey. Maybe it's an old Italian grandfather discussing the nostalgia of his homeland. The best part of it all? It's the same guy.
Growing up as an observer, impressionist, and enthusiast of the human voice and its wide variety of dialects, I have spent most of my life studying the voice, fascinated by the subtleties of its differences. At a very young age and as my voice began to deepen solidifying the bass frequencies, I discovered my ability to manipulate the human vocal instrument and my specialization in character, developing a colorful spectrum of human (and even non-human) voices in over 10 dialects.
In my work, I aim to mingle classical acting training with years of experience and vocal mastery to capture human essence through voice. Over the years, my love and passion for the boundless world of voiceover has grown. I work so hard because I love this thing so much - and I'm thrilled at the opportunity to share that with you.
Formation
I have spent years studing acting at the University of Southern California's B.F.A. Acting for Stage, Screen, and New Media - a program with only 10 members, ranked #2 in the list of best undergraduate Drama Programs in the World by the Hollywood Reporter, right behind Juilliard as #1. I train intensely, learning to become the most resourceful, imaginative, and skilled actor I can be, learning to become fully connected as a master of the voice and physicality, studying the subtleties of dialects, text, and speech.
Throughout my time at USC, I spent years specializing in voiceover courses taught by some of the industry's leading professionals, studying the ins and outs of dialects and vocal technique, as well as the production side of voiceover - editing, sound mixing - making me well-rounded in my voiceover knowledge.
Expérience
I have been working in the industry for almost ten years. As a younger performer in my time before training at USC, I worked in a multitude of commercials - one of them being Bazooka Bubble Gum, making me the official voice of Bazooka Joe - as well as countless animated television shows. One might say I grew up in the voiceover booth.
In my time at USC, I have worked closely with the cinema and animation students, voicing multiple short and full-length feature animated films throughout the years. It is through this work that I discovered my ability for transformation of character, as it exposed me to such extraordinary situations allowing me to employ the polar ends of my voice.
