Albert Einstein once said, “Imagination is more important than knowledge.” Whether we’re listening to Voice Over, which we all do on a daily basis, or practicing the craft, we use our imagination regularly. Having the right voice and the right charisma to inspire that imagination is essential when it comes to VO.
I caught the acting bug in high school and people started coming up to me after my performances and telling me, “Hey, you have a great voice for radio!” Occasionally, “voice” was replaced by “face,” but we won’t talk about those people. Now, years later, after lots of coaching and fine-tuning, I’ve got something to show for it. Hi, I’m John, and you’ve just found your next voice.
When I’m not talking to myself, I enjoy composing music, writing espionage thrillers, hiking, camping, and annoying my fiancé and our cats.
