I have been a Dutch voice-over and sports commentator since 1995.
As a free-lance sports commentator, I currently work for Dutch television stations and streaming platforms such as Viaplay, ESPN, Ziggo Sport, Eurosport and RTL7. My specialty sports are soccer, basketball and darts. (I also voice broadcast sports items for these clients.)
As a voice-over, I have voiced tv and radio commercials as well, for brands such as Pricewise, Pampers, M-Line, Rapid Circle, Unox.
I have voiced other broadcast programs such as sports documentaries for Fox Sports/ESPN, entertainment programs for Skyhigh TV (televised on NPO Zapp) and sports travel shows for The Media Brothers (televised on RTL7).
I have also voiced online/non-broadcast projects for clients such as Toyota, The Holland Belgium Bid, Sir Rufus.
Formation
I learned my voice-over skills in practice, starting as a voice-over and sports commentator in 1995.
Expérience
Perhaps my biggest achievement was commentating live for over 2 million Dutch tv viewers on the PDC World Championship Darts in 2014. For many others PDC World Championships, I have commentated for between 1 and 2 million tv viewers as well.
In addition, I have delivered live 5x5 basketball and 3x3 basketball commentaries on Eurosport/Discovery+/HBO Max during multiple Olympic Games.
Also, I have delivered live on site commentary at basketball, darts and soccer games for thousands, sometimes tens of thousands of spectators in several arenas. For instance, I have commentated on site during the NBA Finals twice.
