My voice can adjust to the needs of the customer. My voice can be conversational, calming, informational, instructional, funny, and believable. My voice will move the customer to buy the product, take the train, attend the university, or go on vacation. My voice can take the listeners into a new dimensions as they travel to new experiences and imagine new realities.
My voice can express emotions of joy, surprise, fear, disappointment, love, laughter, sadness, agony, and numbness.
Give me the line and my voice will paint a picture in the minds of the listener.

 Formation

I was trained by the Edge Studio, New York. My training with that organization has continued with webinars and one on one coaching in commercial voice overs, audiobooks, training voice overs and general voice over skills. I also participated in acting classes with John Amos and David Talbot.

 Expérience

I worked for Pro Audio Voices in order to narrate the book A Trail of Tears by Gloria Petgrave Scoggins. The production of the audiobook should be completed this year and on sale by next year. Experience also includes live presentations for several years as an educational administrator for staff, parents, community, and students. I did a voice over for an animated instructional video used for test preparation in the school where I was an administrator.
As an English teacher, I read poems, plays, and essays to high school students in order to take them to the characters, the settings and the eras being covered.
Gloria Petgrave Scoggins, the author of the audiobook that I just completed, was very pleased and excited with my work.
Her memoir told the story of her grandmother, mother, father, stepfather, and other family members. Being able to give voice to many different characters, while expressing the ups and downs in the book all came together.

 Particularités

I performed first soprano in church choirs, college choirs and school choirs. I performed with a choir at Constitution Hall for a 75th anniversary for Marian Anderson. I directed school plays, events, and conferences. During the Netflix filming of Rustin this summer, I played a marcher.
