Elizabeth Maltman
I have a powerful, flexible voice and my natural accent is gentle RP. I really enjoy accent work and I have excellent US, Yorkshire, Scottish, Irish, Australian, French, German and South London accent. I am always up for learning more - I'm currently practising my Icelandic accent!
As a former science teacher and chemistry graduate, I have a natural flair for communicating technical material with clarity and energy. I have had success in commercial financial VO work as my voice conveys trust and professionalism.
I am also a great storyteller and as a trained actor, I try to approach all text work with a real sense of character and purpose. Classic stories, contemporary thrillers or children's fiction are all a great fit for my voice. As an accredited RNIB reader, I love being able to immerse the listener in the story.
Formation
I trained for 3 years with Identity School of Acting, which encompassed three modules on VO work as well as general voice care, projection and drama that ran through the entire course. One unit of work was an Audible sponsored training unit
