Whether it’s a n audiobook, an explainer video, a voice prompt, or a commercial, I considers it my job to make an “audio-movie” out of the written word.
I see mysef as unique in the voice-actin/VO world, having been a writing professional for publications and sites from the Sacramento Bee to Forbes to The New York Post to Psychology Today, where I continue to maintain a light-hearted Nora Ephron-esque style blogl. I add both flavor and personality to narrations of any kind, including podcasts, news dissemination, corporate/commercial work, and eLearning content.. I am also trained in audio description for the visually impaired, using concise wording to explain what is happening in each scene without “stepping” on dialogue (or giving away the story)..
