David Monteith

I have been acting, speaking and presenting for over 20 years now. I have a versatile British voice and can capture all London nuances and give a wide range of ages.

Given my background I enjoy the audio book, animation and gaming aspects of audio work but take great pride and pleasure in bringing character into commercial, corporate, documentary and announcing.

As an acting teacher and coach I am very good at self direction.

I have also been podcasting for 17 years now allowing me a comfortable relationship with the mic.

I have done voices for several high profile video games including the hit games Dead Island 2 and Baldurs Gate 3.
I am an in demand and award winning audio book narrator and have voiced books for both fiction & non fiction authors and have proven records in both adult and children's books
I have featured in several full cast audio dramas
I have narrated several documentaries, have experience in ADR/dubbing, animation and love doing explainer videos

My highlight was doing an old Wild West voice for a narration as a joke and being gobsmacked when the client loved it and went with it!!!

 Particularités

I started podcasting way back when no one in this country knew what a podcast was. As a result this let to me to working with the BBC.

As a father I love reading stories and making them live.
