Dear Voice Over Seekers,

When my usual LA based VO suspects were booked, I decided to shop online for a voice. The minute I heard Dave Atwood's voice I knew I had found a diamond in the rough. I quickly sent him a sample of my copy and within minutes he responded. WOW is all I can say. He simply NAILED it. Besides his superb voice quality, what I heard was that he intently read my instructions, and tailored his read to tell me he completely 'got' what I was trying to do. I wanted a "50's Sci-Fi trailer read' and it was exactly what I got. So I hired Dave, and dealing with him on the job was simply a pleasure. His attitude was 'consider it done' whenever I had a note. He turned cuts around swiftly, which was deeply appreciated, as I had an editor on the clock!

I have been in the "business" for 25 years, and I have Executive Produced some of the most popular shows on television (American Idol, America's Most Wanted, American Gladiators) and I must say that Dave belongs in the group of the top VO announcers I have ever worked with. I would highly recommend him for whatever need you may have. Even if his reel doesn't exactly fit the mold you are looking for, trust me, he is so versatile and skilled that no doubt he will thread the needle for you and make you as satisfied as I am.

I've been the announcer voice for the syndicated Pop Radio Countdown with Heather Walters. I've also been the voice of the New Orleans Saints Saintsations for several years. I have twenty years on-air experience in radio, including years in major market. Commercial production and agency work including long form industrial narratives, on hold messages, radio and tv liners for stations throughout the U.S. and even in South Africa. Also worked as a theatrical Actor, as well as on camera TV commercial work. Was 10 different characters in Premier Pictures ADR project for multi-million dollar film "Quo Vadis", including a principle character, Chilo Chilodones. Numerous Addy Awards over the years.
