Christopher Smith

My name is Christopher Smith and I work out of Bethesda, Maryland. I’ve been doing professional voiceover work since the summer of 2021, but I’ve been adding my voice to narrations and training films at my office for several years. In me, you’ll find a true command of language which combined with my extensive technical background, gives me the ability to work through even the most complex text.  Formation

I trained with Art Bruder of Edge Studios in New York City for narration and commercials starting in Summer 2021. I do refresher training with Edge Studios frequently for DAW master classes and voice techniques.

 Expérience

Most of my work is corporate narrations introducing new products - mainly software. I've done work for Alora and HMB Solutions recently. I've also provided character voices for Alora financial for a set of commercials under production. To gain experience when I first started VO work, I provided VO work for non-profits and student projects including English voicing for stations on a line of the Seoul, South Korea metro system.

 Particularités

In addition to VO work, I have an extensive background in writing and public speaking. This makes me excellent at developing and editing copy - which I have provided, typically to clients (and prospective clients) where English is not their native language.
