I have been called "grounded," an "everyman," "caring" but also "snarky." Kind of like your best friend's dad. I bring a sense of familiarity to each character and each script. In commercials, you could be sitting right next to me nodding (or laughing) along. In explainers and corporate videos, I'm the guy on the job along side you.
Formation
I've been coaching privately with GVAA CEO David Rosenthal since January of 2023. As a member of the Global Voice Acting Academy, I regularly train with world class voice actors in monthly Coach Lead Workouts and attend masterclasses covering a range of topics necessary for a successful voice acting career from acting skills and audition strategies to structuring a business and making sound financial decisions now and for the future.
Expérience
I've provided voice performances for internal and outward facing videos for numerous SAAS companies including Craft.io, Horizon3.ai, and Vetstoria. I enjoy commercial scripts for their variety and personality, but working with these clients to produce explainer videos has a special place in my heart. They trusted me to represent their brand to the world not in a quick, attention grabbing way, but in a way that communicates the pride they have in their work and elucidates the good it provides.
Particularités
I am a certified music educator and classically trained musician. My primary instrument is trumpet but I have vocal training as well and love to sing. I still love teaching young musicians and regularly arrange jazz and concert band music for intermediate age ensembles.
I have been editing audio in Adobe Audition for years, use Adobe Premiere Pro for video editing, and Finale Music Notation software for music engraving.
