Christopher Wilde

Having trained professionally as a singer and actor I have an extensive vocal range, which lends itself well to character voices. I am able to employ various singing techniques to voice a host of characters, from deep voiced villains to helium voiced cartoon roles, and more besides.
On a more general note I have a rich, engaging and authoritative British RP voice, suited to narrative and audiobook work.

 Particularités

I have trained professionally as an actor at the Poor School and Workhouse Theatre in London, and am represented by Howard Cooke Associates.
I have also trained professionally as a singer, via numerous tutors over the last twenty years, and am a keen singer songwriter, in a long standing songwriting partnership. I am a Baritenor with a three octave voice.
I have a fully functional, acoustically treated home studio to record voiceover using condenser microphones and a pre-amp, and have a good grasp of post production techniques using Apples Logic Pro and Adobe Audition which I use on a regular basis.
My studio sound has been checked and verified by a professional engineer from the Gravy for the Brain voiceover education resource, which I subscribe to.
