If you're looking for a conversational and authentic delivery, I specialise in commercial, documentary, corporate narration, animation or video games. I'm Becky, a Chinese-Canadian, One Voice nominated, multi-lingual voice actor based in Hong Kong. I am fluent in English, Cantonese and French (Canadian) and have a background in broadcast journalism. I have a home studio with Source Connect, Cleanfeed & Zoom capabilities.
At the heart of it all, I'm a storyteller. I'm articulate and can pronounce complex words with ease as well as be creative and silly. I've worked with independent animators and game developers and global brands such as Toyota, AIA Insurance, Sunkist, the Hong Kong Government and networks such as National Geographic, Discovery Channel and CNN Create in Asia.
Oh and I love cats, coffee and chocolate.
Formation
I was a broadcast journalist for about 10 years and now I'm also a TV & Film producer, working on productions all over the world.
My acting training is wide and varied from foundational acting at the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts, Acting with Kimberly Jentzen, the Michelle Danner Acting School as well as Improv at The Groundlings.
My voiceover training includes March Graue, Andrea Toyias, The Halp Network for animation & gaming as well as Voicecaster Kelly Mocinski, Rick Zieff and the wonderful Tina Morasco for commercial VO.
I'm consistently training and refining my craft, so I can deliver more believable and honest performances in any production.
Expérience
I have voiced projects for many large corporations and the government for over 15 years in Asia. Noteworthy brands include Toyota, AlipayHK, Citibank, Universal Music, Sunkist and hundreds of PSAs for the Hong Kong Government, SG60 Singapore Government and TVB.
