"A Pan-African accent with Global appeal."

I come alive when put in front of a microphone; a lot of effort goes into breaking down a script so the right words and giving the radiance they need to translate from words on paper to an audio experience. Voiceovers are my happy place; it sounds cliche, but I was always a talkative child. Now it makes sense; it almost comes naturally. I enjoy working in directed sessions; when you hear the vision and deliver the way the client envisions, I can tune into their vision snd provide reads with the right inflexion, tonality and energy to leave clients pleased with their translated vision. All while paying attention to detail and the professionalism expected in a fast-paced industry.

I have had private coaching from Jodi Gottlieb, who I continue to work with on complex and commercial reads. She has helped me break out of my narrator shell and get more comfortable with commercial reads while working with Chuck Duran from Demo's that Rock to create my showreel.

I have a 2021 Hot102.7 Radio Academy Certificate that included elements of getting comfortable with radio, from production and content creation to stepping in front of the mic.

In 2021, I recorded 120 Hours for Amazon; this was done with vocal coaches to ensure diction, pronunciation and inflexion as per their standards.

Over the last 17 years, I have collaborated with Agency creatives and clients from Africa, Europe and The United States on multiple projects capitalizing on the virtual nature of the industry over the last two + years to execute seamlessly on the direction given.

I attended the SOVAS (The Society of Voice Arts and Sciences) Annual Conference last year and continue to use their ongoing webinars as an opportunity to keep abreast of industry trends.

I am particularly proud of my 2021 collaboration with the University of Cape Town Alumni, who submitted "Prayers For Sweet Waters", a short film showcased at the 2022 Sundance Awards earning me my first IMDB credit.
This was outside the main corporate narrations I usually do.
Stepping outside my comfort zone allowed me to voice the inserts for "The Globe", a Food Network Cooking competition hosted by Robert Irvine and now streaming on Discovery+ and Amazon Prime.

I have been exposed to the fantastic work done by collaborating with United Nations ( UNDP, IEO and UN Migration), WWF (World Wildlife Fund) and the American Red Cross through the many narrations and e-learning programmes we have collaborated on.

These are only a few of many clients whose scripts I have brought to life; others include Amazon, Deloitte, Novartis, DSTV, Standard Bank, Sanlam, Sentech, WorldRemit, Trafigura, University of Pretoria, Mercy Ships, South African Department of Defence, The World Health Organisation and The Joint Commission.

I can record high-quality files and edit and provide final files in the required audio format for final mixing.
