While I've done voice over for most of my adult life, I've become proficient in audiobooks and topics ranging from politics to religion to medicine to climate to food. I've been told by my clients and the people they rely on that I convey that I believe what I say and that you should too. I've been told I'm marketable for: medical narration, meditation and corporate videos. I've done them all, along with hard charging car commercials, satire and character voices. I've been the voice of a penguin, a Colorado rancher, a Kentucky-feuding Hatfield, and a British barrister.
Formation
I received the most influential training at the kitchen table of my youth when my father and three brothers would gather around a tape recorder and improv . I was too young to contribute much, but I listened and soaked it in. Look at who ended up in the voice profession. I did not attend a school for this and don't have a degree but I'm proud to have made a living from that training.
Expérience
I was recruited for my first voice job in high school, was hired by WSM Radio in Nashville upon graduation and then went on to the news business in radio and then for 25 years in TV in cities including Little Rock, Nashville and Pittsburgh.
Particularités
I cannot sing. You will regret hiring me to sing. Unless it is a horror script.
