My voice has significant harmonic content, creating a friendly calming atmosphere. My voice is calm and conversational but can be animated if the situation requires it. I generally do narrations, but can do characters as well. My engineering background gives me an advantage over most other artists. I understand specifications and the physics involved with creating good recordings. I also understand how to use spectral editing and subtraction filters. I have good equipment and have a small home recording studio. Because of this I can usually turn around a recording in twenty-four hours. I am transparent, reliable and easy to deal with.

My equipment includes the following:

DAW: Reaper
Noise Floor: less than -70 dB

 Formation

No formal training, other than voice lessons in college. I am actually an electrical engineer by profession, but worked nights as a singer in cover bands since 1984. Singing cover tunes taught me how to use my voice and articulate accents.

Experience:
I fell into voice acting by accident around 2013. I was auditioning as a film/video composer with a company in Finland. They reached out to me and asked if I would be interested in doing a reading for them. They were making corporate videos for use in North America—or at least for North American customers. They needed narrators with a North American accent. I thought I would give it a try, hoping I could get more work as a composer for them. After achieving success with this I expanded to American clients as well. Some of the customers I landed jobs with include:

Most of the work was either informational videos or internet advertisement.
