 Expérience

Born in Bogotá, Colombia, Ana María Roa started her career in the Advertising field as a Copywriter and Press Manager, directing talents for her release-promos. On the side, she started building a strong Singing career as a Lead Vocalist that later on took over and started performing as a full-time job until she became the best positioned House Music Singer in her country, being the central show in events for brands like Mazda, Ford, Colombiamoda, Avianca, Pfizer, among others, as well as the Miami Winter Music Conference as a special guest for three consecutive years next to talents like Barbara Tucker and Dj Fruto.
While working as a Bandleader, developing great administrative skills, active Singer, Songwriter, and Vocal Technique Coach, Ana maría got more involved in the Voice Over and Jingle industry, not only as a performer but as a Copywriter. Some of her work includes brands like Sunny D, Pepsi, Herbal Essences, Centrales, Lego, Buscapina Fem, Café Sello Rojo and Pfizer, in which she co-produced and conceived the concept of the Institutional song for their Convention.
Trained in the arts of Spanish Voice Over Techniques and Dubbing, Ana María has worked mainly in Commercial, Narration, and Dubbing in Colombia for over 10 years, being the Latin American Voice version of lead characters like Demi Moore, Catherine Zeta Jones, Lucy Liu or Tara Morice, in productions displayed for a Hispanic Audience in channels like Disney Channel, National Geographic, Discovery, TNT, Discovery Kids.
In 2014 moved to New York to pursue a higher level in the Voice Over Arts and the global market, in Audiobook, IVR, Video game, Commercial, Narration, ​and Dubbing, working full-time at her equipped home studio and New York's facilities, and leading her own Storytelling group in Spanish for Kids in Brooklyn.
