James Heggs

I’ve been told I sound similar to Denzel Washington. Or Tracey Morgan. What’s clear is I sound like a New Yorker. Full of vigor but it’s balanced with a sense of humor that catches many off guard. The baritone makes people assume it’s “Serious Business” all day-everyday. It can be that but I love to play around with it. It all started with Twizzlers Ad, “I am a Mouth” campaign. I used to do that verbatim and people were floored and to think I was about 9-10 years old. That’s the kind if voice I will bring to a project.

 Formación

I was trained by the coaches at Such-a-Voice. For the record I paid for an extensive package. I wanted to leave absolutely nothing to chance.

 Experiencia

So far I have not worked on anything. I got the training in 2018. Due to some unforeseen and very unfortunate set backs 2019 was a wash as my personal life -the day job-sort of blew up in my face. I had to use the back half of the year to reset and come back in 2020. Oh well we know how that year went.

 Características

I have 15 background in film. I’ve done it all besides financing and acting. I have worked as an editor since the late 90’s. So you can be assured there are no tech issues that I fear in this line of work. And they also goes for deadlines. When it comes to production I’m well versed.
