I have an exceptional ability to perform poetry both of the written, classic styles as well as spoken word. My voice is also well suited to advertising for nature documentaries and shows as well as Travel companies and sites. I also rap well and am capable of writing my own material.

Experiencia

While living in Anguilla, I worked at the Department of Information and Broadcasting (Radio Anguilla) as a Radio Presenter, Interviewer and Voice Over Talent for Advertising. I have interviewed many notable Caribbean artists i.e., Jimmy Cliff, Buju Banton and The Wailers Band to name just a few. Theatre is also part of my background, I performed for many years as part of Anguilla’s primary theatre group, “Sunshine Theatre”. In 2006, I spent the summer at RADA to hone my skills as a stage performer then went on to the Edinburgh Fringe to perform a Spoken Word Poetry show: No Truer Words Move. I also released a Spoken Word & Music Album of the same name, paired with a documentary about my background and experiences. Also in 2006, I represented Anguilla in Trinidad at “Carifesta” a bi-annual Caribbean festival featuring talent from all the Caribbean countries, I was featured as a Spoken Word performer and also participated in a panel with Caribbean writers and lecturers from University of the West Indies (UWI) on the use of colloquial language in Post Colonial literature. In Anguilla, I have worked on an Annual music festival called “Moonsplash” as a Marketing and Promotions person, securing sponsorship funds as well as conducting all the Radio Interviews with the Artistes and Bands performing, in addition, voicing all advertisements for the events and writing promotional articles for print in our primary local paper, “The Anguillian”
