Years of practice and formal training at an acting conservatory. I also read a lot of books on acting that are recommended.

I've offered my voice to several indie videogame developers, podcast series, an educational narration for a school in the Netherlands, and pre-cut animation.

I also have formal singing training, can improv, make creature/animal sounds, can do a bunch of accents (and am able to learn more with relative ease), have a firm foundational understanding of audio mastering, and am a big nerd when it comes to doing research into topics that I love. I often go for walks in nature and watch videos on animals, learning how to make their different sounds - I really enjoy working on my creature sounds.
