Edward Selvey IV

My name is Ed, I'm an actor based out of Chicago, IL. And my story is an unusual one.

After graduating college with a degree in Computer Science and going on to work in Corporate IT for over a decade, I decided to try an improv class to unwind. That class led to another. Which then led to teaching improv to others, and then becoming a student again: at The Second City in Chicago. After completing their two conservatory programs, I was hired there as a performer. And the more time I spent performing--on stage, on camera, and in booth--the more that I knew that my passion was in using my voice to bring material to life

It's all left me with a unique skill set: the technical ability and professionalism of corporate work, and the spontaneity and outside-the-box thinking of improv. And I would love to offer your project all of my strengths, if you will grant me the privilege.

 Formación

I performed in local theater for most of my life, before completing both the Improv and Music Conservatories at The Second City - Chicago. I also completed the Advanced Voice Over program at The Green Room - Chicago, as well as multiple character and animation workshops.

 Experiencia

I am currently the voice of the Britannica Money blog for Encyclopedia Britannica. In the past, I have lent my voice to broadcast campaigns for McDonald's and The University of Illinois, as well as appearing on camera for Amazon, Aramark, and HP Enterprise.
