"Clear, crisp, cocky, and clever"

I've worked in the advertising and media production industry since 2005. As a result, not only have I worked as voice talent, I've also worked as a producer, director, and writer. I still work as a writer and creative director, so I'm very conscious of exactly what a project needs in order to succeed in regards to quality, as well as the number of takes, interpretations, and options. My natural voice is clear, crisp, and generally fast-paced, (so those scripts that try to cram 45 seconds of information into a 30-second window actually work sometimes.) I'm fairly accentless, though I grew up in the American South, and can turn that on when needed. Beyond just having worked in the industry, I have formal acting training that goes beyond the microphone.

BA degree in Radio/TV/Film production from the University of South Alabama
MFA in Acting from the University of Southern Mississippi
9 years working at Mad Genius/Eyevox studio, working on commercial, radio, and film projects
Voice performer training at Acting Studio Chicago from Jeff Lupetin
Audiobook performer training from Kevin Theis

GlaxoSmithKline - corporate videos
Tyson Foods - corporate videos
Quirk Books - Book trailers for Lovecraft Middle School, Back To The Future children's book, and William Shakespeare's Star Wars: A New Hope. (Lucasfilm had to sign off on the last one, so technically, I'm an official Darth Vader.)
Primos Hunting - Commercial VO
Currently the official station voice for WJTV, Jackson, MS. (I record from home in the Chicago area)

I can do post-production on my own audio files. While I cannot write music, I do have a baritenor singing voice, and some musical training and experience.
