"Sincere, Smooth, Professional - Native British"

I'm a full-time British voice over professional living in London. I produce broadcast quality audio in double quick time. I record and edit in my home studio, working with clients to ensure they get the delivery they need.

My voice has been described as: Sincere, Friendly, Engaging, Believable, Voice of God, Upbeat, Quirky, Warm, Rich, Flexible, Professional, "Lovely to curl up to"! I am cast for a variety of ages, from late 20s to mid 40s. I'm native as either a BBC British speaker like Benedict Cumberbatch, or a more guy next door type like Martin Freeman or Tom Hollander. I've voiced everything from pre-recorded theatre narration to educational material to commercials. I'm happiest behind a microphone!

I trained as an actor at Oxford School of Drama. Before that I was a qualified barrister / attorney in London. I trained in voice over with an award winning BBC radio director and producer. My training and flexible British accent makes me perfect for radio and TV adverts, corporate videos, explainer videos, audio-books, educational material, technical, legal or medical material, documentaries... pretty much whatever you need. I'm great with corporate / professional / technical sounding material, but I'm just as happy with quirkier upbeat or comedy scripts.

Recent work ranges from:

- Online adverts for a major new financial health brand soon to be launched
(Christopher was great to work with. He went the extra mile to give us exactly what we were after, with excellent communication throughout. Hoping we can work together again soon. Anna Freeman, CEO (Zavfit));

- Software explainer videos
(Thank you for delivering a quality audio. It was great working with you! Oxana Savostina (MarketFeeder));

- To Pre-recorded narrative voice over for a national theatre production
(Christopher’s voice for the narrator of Not: Lady Chatterley’s Lover was fantastic. Audiences frequently comment on the extra layer of humour he brought to the show and he regularly gets one of the biggest laughs with his perfect delivery of the line that ends the first half. He’s great to work with throughout the creative process and went the extra mile even coming to rehearsals to get a better understanding of the piece. We’d highly recommend and would definitely work with him again. (Lawrence Russell - Happy Idiot));

- Teaching English videos.

- Mixing music in with the voice over (just let me know your needs)
- Composing royalty free music (I often work closely with a composer - cost to be calculated separately from my normal rates)
- Copy writing, editing and proofreading service also available (I have written advertising copy for several brands, along with two documentary scripts and several play scripts).
