My elegant and eloquent speaking voice is perfect for luxury and aspirational brands, but I can also offer that additional 'wild card' read as an option where appropriate. The quirky take that you take after one is in the bag, just for fun, that sometimes turns out to be what you hadn't realised you wanted all along!

Highly educated, I have a wide vocabulary and master complex technical terminology and descriptive terms with ease. Accents are a strong interest - possibly due to travelling extensively as a child and attending 6 different primary schools! That childhood, spent 'with my nose in a book' (I was always reading!), combined with my theatre and screen acting experience, means I give excellent 'cold reads' and can deliver a variety of reads to suit the client's choice.

 Formación

I have been undertaking on-going voice training since 2017, with a special emphasis on accent development, and on caring for the voice. As a professional actor, it's the main tool of my trade!

I am also a published author, with an undergraduate degree in English Literature and Media Studies and, following a career change, a PhD focussing on digital textile printing.

 Experiencia

I am currently working on my 161st audiobook (full list available on request). It's glorious fun - non-fiction, with bits of Old English, Middle English, and Latin so far! Quite the challenge as the pronunciation goes, but my inner geek just loves the research - go the Geek!
A favourite romance to narrate was The Independent Woman by Jill Darragh (available on Audible). Jill has links back to Brighton in England, which is also where I did my undergraduate degree!
One of my favourite explainers was for Orbit Health - Neptune animation (explainer) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L-SnjVa-YFY. This was very personal to me as it was for a digital health innovation designed to improve the lives of people living with Parkinson’s disease - just like my brother.
