1. How can you offer your service free to voice seekers?
Voiceover talents that want to be able to audition for voice jobs need a premium membership with bodalgo. The membership fees make it possible to offer the service bodalgo provides for free to voice seekers.
2. What about voice talents, though?
bodalgo offers two account for voice talents: the free standard account allows for submitting your profile including a photo and voice demos. Every voice talent will get a free homepage at bodalgo as well which is generated automatically and usually can be accessed via http://www.bodalgo.com/voices/first_name-last_name. Premium members of bodalgo get invitations to all auditions submitted to bodalgo and therefore never miss a chance to create new business. Additionally, all premium members are fully listed in the database of bodalgo - another option to grab potentials client's attention. Learn more...
3. Will the standard account secretly become premium account I have to pay for?
No. Until you let us know otherwise your account will stay a free standard account.
4. What is the price of a premium account?
First of all: A premium account will only be generated if you take action. The standard account will never become a premium one without your interaction.
We offer a premium membership at 19,90 Euro per month (including VAT). Membership renewals automatically by one month if not cancelled seven days before the end of the running period. In other words: There is no long-term obligation, you can cancel your membership at basically any time you want.
5. How safe is my personal data?
bodalgo stores all user data in a database which can not be accessed from the outside the server. Also, all security related information like passwords are stored encrypted. And there's more: All data exchanged between you and the bodalgo server is encrypted for the journey through the network, so nobody can sneak into your personal data.
About accounts
1. How do I cancel my premium membership?
You can cancel your premium membership via your ClickandBuy-account or your Paypal-Account (whichever you used when purchasing the membership). If you have trouble cancelling wihtin your PayPal/ClickAndBuy-Account, we are happy to assist you. After canceling your account will be downgraded to a standard account after the last period you have paid for ends. Please note that the notice period is seven days before the end of a period.
About profiles
1. I have registered as a talent but I can not find myself in the database/via the search function!
We are checking every new profile manually which usually takes a few days maximum. Still, only profiles of professional voiceover talents will get activated. At this time we do not present the work of amateurs. If you feel you fulfill all criterias of becoming a member at bodalgo but your profile does not get activated for a day or two, please write to us.
2. I have uploaded a new demo but all I hear is the old one!
Don't worry, chances are that your demo uploaded just as it should. Sometimes browsers don't refresh their cache with the new data. Once you clear the browser cache manually/reload the page while holding down the shift button at the same time, you should be able to hear the demo you just uploaded.
About auditions
1. An audition that was there yesterday has disappeared - how comes?
Auditions with a deadline more than 30 days ago are automatically deleted from the system.
2. How do I know if was chosen for a voice job?
In case a voice seeker decides to go with you he or her will get in touch with automatically. Unfortunately, in most cases voice talents will not be contacted if it did not work out. If you do not receive any feedback after the deadline of an audition you can expect that an other voice talent got the job.
