Zoe Forrester

Alumni to one of the most prestigious drama schools in the UK, Zoë Forrester has evolved her career from the world of theatre into voice over.

In 2021, Zoë launched ZOVO, a VO company that connects businesses to their target audience by providing the voice that tells their brand's story. During ZOVO's first year, Zoë has provided quality voice over to a variety of local businesses worldwide. Zoë recently recorded her first global campaign for Anchor and Spotify.

Zoë's aim is to grow her client's marketing impact and make their voice heard, so they can stand out from the crowd.

Zoë specializes in the following areas:

I graduated from East 15 acting school where I worked on stage and screen with multiple voice coaches and directors. I have 3 years worth of base training in both vocal work and articulation.

I joined Guy Micheal's Voiceover Kickstart Course and am about to take part in other courses such as self direction tool kit and soundcheck.

I am currently working with Yvonne Morely as my vocal coach, who has over a decades worth of experience and has a multitude of projects under her belt. I am also joining her breathing and relaxation workshop as part of the Rose Farm team and I use her app "voice coach" to improve my vocal abilities, whilst maintaining my vocal health.

I have taken courses with Anthony Pica, who is a major success on freelance platforms and a vocal coach with his own academy, as well as following the likes of Bill Dewees watching his video content and applying tips and tricks from his free courses.

I am a member of Gravy for the brain and frequently use their resources to build and improve my VO skillset.

During my first year of voice over, I worked with a variety of small businesses, producers and artists.

One of my favorite projects was for a Youtube channel, promoting a fantasy fairytale mod for Minecraft. I was able to showcase my character abilities and voiced the promo as a fairy!

I was hired to voice an animated character in a sci-fi movie that was figuring out how to defeat evil robots...

My first ever job was for an Elearning company in Vietnam. I supplied an English dub for the company, which voiced the majority of the schools new online curriculum.

I did a podcast intro for codified, a house music channel. With all the effects, it really added to the vibe of the channel and the client was really happy with the outcome. Plus it sounded really cool...

I am the new voice for AMCO security. As well as being the person you hear on their voicemail, I also acted in their online commercial.

I was recently hired to do a global campaign for Anchor, partnered with Spotify. It was an incredible experience and my first big commercial job.

I am planning to record a kid's book that I wrote and turn it into an audiobook!

I base my special skills on working with things I am passionate about. These include:

Voicing things for kids. I work with kids and I am very passionate about working with them and for them.

Anything to do with building or creating a dream house or space.

True crime and psychology based projects. I love them. I spend a lot of time watching them and studying them. It's a bit of an obsession...

Anything self improvement based.

Anything to do with cooking. If I hadn't gone into acting, I'd be a chef!

Things that are centered around nature. I was born a country girl.

I love cartoons and anime, so working in this niche would be a huge plus!

Others include: Therapy, genes and ancestry, fashion, single mothers, ADHD, drag, music festivals, travel, dogs, dancing and anything to do with sleep.

I'm not bad with accents and I can also hold a tune.
