Yasmeen Ansari-Roberts

I am a Muslim, Black-American, raised in the Middle East (Arabic as my second language) and England, and now living in the UK full-time. I have a unique ability to switch accents and have a smooth, international ambiguity to my tone for clients looking for a more neutral voice, or can be clearly American or British, or even Arab, among a myriad of other accents I have honed. My tone is rich and can add luxury or young and quirky. I operate my own home studio and can offer high quality recordings with a quick @$ hour turnaround.

 Eğitim

I studied commercial VO with Craig Lee Thomas and Arianna Ratner through Real Voice LA. I did several character VO coaching sessions with Arianna and am working on expanding to further coaches.

 Deneyim

My biggest achievement and project to date was working with Rebel Girls Inc. on one of their Goodnight Stories. That project came out so well post-production and I'm very proud of it. I worked with Panera Bread on an internal corporate video. I lent my voice to all the female roles/verses in an English dramatisation of the Quran for a company called The Clear Quran. I worked for various online charity promos; Vidi Guides, is an online virtual travel tour guide that I lend my voice acting skills to for several roles/characters as we trek around the globe, and they are a recurring client.
